Petron has pioneered a new chapter in the transformation
of the UAE cement sector. Petron has credibility as
one of the leading major contractors in carrying out
erection of 30 grass root cement plants.
Petron started its Middle East operations in 1983
with a cement plant project for National Cement Co.,
U.A.E. This plant was converted from wet process to
dry process from 1500 TPD wet process, to 1950 TPD
dry process and carried out nearly 8000 tons of equipment
erection.
Petron has been involved in major cement plant expansion
and upgradation projects in U.A.E. and has executed
projects at almost all the cement plants in U.A.E.
Petron also undertakes shutdown and maintenance jobs
of cement plants, involving modification of preheater,
kiln, raw mill, cement mill, cooler, involving modification
and replacement of various equipments, viz., bag house
filter, ESP, ducts, hoppers, kiln shells, kiln rollers,
chair pads, girth gear, etc.
